Round-up 28/10


Premier Division
Sharrow United stretched their unbeaten run to six matches, with a exciting 4-3 win over High Noon at Warminster Road. The move into third with the win.

Division One
An hat-trick from Delroy Williams and two goals from Nathan Reid helped Winn Gardens to a 5-3 win over Ridgeway Athletic. The win takes Winn Gardens into third place, nine points off the lead with two games spare.

Penistone Church moved into mid-table, following a comfortable 3-0 home win over Hackenthorpe B.

Elsewhere, Intake Ball Inn were held to a 1-1 draw at Warminster Road by Woodhouse Juniors FC.

Divison Two
Two goals from Carl Hopwood helped City Taxis (Stradbroke) reclaim top spot in the Second Division. They were 5-0 winners away against Mosborough B.

Bystrany Sheffield extended their unbeaten run to three matches with a 4-2 win Hackenthorpe Villa at Reignhead Farm.

U21 Division
The top two, Sheffield FC U21's and Throstles U21's, in the U21 Division met at the Sheffield Park Academy. The two teams shared the spoils, with the game ending 1-1. Sheffield remain top by two points, but Throstles do have a game-in-hand.

Ryan Smith scored twice for Woodhouse Juniors FC U21's, in their 3-1 win over Sharrow United U21's.

Greasborough U21's bounced back from their first loss of the season last week, by beating Dronfield Town U21's 4-3 at Roughwood Fields.

Hollinsend U21's were big 6-1 winners over Swallownest U21's. Ashley Matthews starred for Hollinsend with a hat-trick to his name.

Crosspool Juniors U21's stretched their unbeaten league run to five games, as they held Abbey Lane U21's to a 2-2 draw at Boundary Sports Club.

League Cup 1st Round
Second Division Bystrany Sheffield claimed their first since win of the season in the League Cup on Sunday, with a impressive 6-3 win fo First Division Winn Gardens.

Last years' cup winners Royal Earl survived a hard test against Hackenthorpe. A Ryan Hindley penalty and a Pearce strike gave them a 2-1 win at Warminster Road.

Dronfield Town U21's claimed the scalp of First Division Ridgeway Athletic. They were 2-1 winners at Ridgeway Sports & Social Club.

In form First Division side Rawson Spring knocked Premier Division Greenhill White Hart at Warminster Road. Jack Poulton scored two of the goals for last years' Tinsley Trophy winners in a 3-2 victory.

Both Malaki Brown and Sean Flowers scored twice to help Cricketers 2012 to a comfortable 7-1 win over Swallownest U21's to advance to round two.

Premier Division
Sharrow United tied Packhorse Inn 2-2 at Warminster Road to make it four successive league draws for them. They now mid-table, and are still unbeaten in league competition thus far this season.

Arundel moved into fourth place with a 3-1 win over High Noon at Frecheville Sports & Social Club. Mark West, Shaun Martin and Lee Dexter were all the score-sheet for the Arundel.

Division One
Veteran marksman Liam Cartledge scored four times to help Arbourthorne EA to extend their lead at the top of the First Division to six points. They were 5-2 winners away against HSBC.

Adam Wragg scored both the goals for Woodhouse JFC, as they beat Jack-in-a-Box 2-1 at Davy's Sporting Club. The win is Woodhouse JFC's first in the league this season, with Jack-in-a-Box still pointless.

Division Two
Brandon Wilde scored twice to set-up Hurlfield to a 4-1 away win over Hackenthorpe Villa. Hurlfield remain a point clear at the top with the victory.

City Taxis (Stradbroke) are second after their 6-0 win over Mosborough B. Ryan Smith with a hat-trick there for City Taxis.

Elsewhere, SWD were held to a 1-1 draw at home against Wadsley FC. The point takes SWD off the bottom-of-the-table, above Bystrany Sheffield on goal difference.

U21 Division
Sheffield FC made it five wins from six league games with a win in the late kick-off against Greaseborough U21's. They were 4-2 winners at Gosforth Fields, and puts two points between them and their rivals at the top-of-the-league.

Perry Jackson scored six goals for Throstles U21's in their 11-1 win over Abbey Lane. The win takes Throstles into second place.

Sharrow United U21's made it back-to-back league wins for the first time this term, with 5-3 win over Hollinsend U21's at Parson's Cross Park.

Crosspool Juniors U21's were 3-0 winners over Hackenthorpe Warriors U21's at Limb Lane Playing Fields. Jake Pearson, Ryan Cusick and Jonathan Harris got the goals for Crosspool to extend their unbeaten league run to four games. 

Swinton Spartans U21's scored four goals for the second consecutive league game. They were 4-2 winners over Woodhouse JFC U21's at Flockton Park.

Round-up 14/10


Division Two
Second placed City Taxis (Stradbroke) were held to a 1-1 draw by Bystrany Sheffield. The win moves City Taxis within a point of the leaders Hurlfield.

SWD gained their first point of the season, with a 2-2 draw away against Mosborough B. SWD remian bottom but do have tow games-in-hand of second bottom Bystrany Sheffield.

Under 21 Division
Sharrow United U21's ended a run of three games without a win by beating Swallownest U21's 11-2. Swallownest remain second bottom, with five straight league losses.

League leaders Sheffield FC U21's were held to a 3-3 draw by Woodhouse Juniors FC U21's at Gosforth Fields.

Second placed Dronfield Town U21's were unable to take advantage of Sheffield's slip-up, as they too were held to a draw against Crosspool Juniors U21's 2-2.

Two goals from Daniel Harris inspired Greaseborough U21's to a 5-1 win over Hackenthorpe Warriors U21's. Greaseborough move into fourth with the win.

In the late kick-off Leighton Buck scored twice for Hollinsend U21’s to help them to a 2-2 draw away against Throstles U21’s.

Round-up 7/10


League Cup 1st Round
Thomas Heap, Luke Webster and Daniel Jones all scored for Greaseborough U21's claimed the scalp of the round. They beat Division One side Penistone Church 3-1 at Roughwood Fields.

Crookes were inspired to a 11-0 victory over Hollinsend U21's by a hat-trick of hat-tricks. Mark Clements, Joel Purkiss and Paul Wood all scored three times as Crookes ran out comfortable winners.

A penalty from Aiden Cooper and Lewis Lynch strike gave Swinton Spartans U21's an impressive 2-1 away victory over Wadsley FC at Niagra Sports Club.

Former Sheffield Wednesday academy prospect Danny Reet scored three times to help Arbourthorne EA to a 7-1 win over Intake Ball Inn at Warminster Road.

Danny Atkins grabbed a hat-trick and David Gelsthorpe scored four times for Jack-in-a-Box, as they ran out 11-0 winners over Abbey Lane U21's.

Elsewhere, Mosborough B edged out Sheffield FC U21's 1-0 to move into round two.

Tinsley Trophy 1st Round
Hackenthorpe B beat Cricketers 2012 5-1 at Reignhead Farm to move comfortably into round two.

Premier Division
Russell Hobson converted two penalties for Handsworth Turf Tavern, as they were held to a 4-4 draw at home to Wadsley Bridge WMC.

Hackenthorpe A cut Handsworth Turf Tavern's lead at the top of the Premier Division to three points, after they beat Arundel 8-1 at Frecheville Sports and Social Club. Both Thomas Nolan and Lee Thompson scored three times for Hackenthorpe.

Sharrow United claimed their third successive draw, as they held Royal Earl to a 3-3 draw at Warminster Road.

Nick Owen scored three times to give Greenhill White Hart a 3-0 away win over Packhorse Inn.

Division One
Rawson Spring moved to within three points of top spot with a 5-2 victory over HSBC at the Civil Service Ground.

Woodhouse Juniors FC notched-up their first point of the season, as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Ridgeway Athletic.

Division Two
Hurlfield march on at the top of the Second Division following a 3-0 win over SWD. Lee Savage scored all three goals for Hurlfield.

Hackenthorpe Villa sit a point back in second place, as they ran out 4-0 winners over FC Darnall.

Jordan Marshall and Richard Ellin both scored twice for City Taxis (Stradbroke) beat Norton Athletic 5-1 at HSBC Sports Club.

U21 Division
Dronfield Town U21's sit in second place only by goal difference after Sunday's 3-1 defeat of Hackenthorpe Warriors U21's.

Throstles U21's extended their unbeaten run to four games with a 2-2 draw at Sheffield Park Academy against Sharrow United U21's.

Huw Turner and Thomas Oakes both grabbed braces as Crosspool Juniors U21's beat Swallownest U21's 6-4 at Limb Lane Playing Fields. The win is Crosspool's first of the season.
