A change in weather in the region has prompted us to all believe finally that Spring is upon us. Well, Spring for us means the start of the cup final season. The first of which came last night in the form of the Tinsley Trophy Final.
Division Two high-flyers City Taxis (Stradbroke) shocked Division One's Arbourthorne EA at Brackenmoor 3-1. More silverware may come City Taxis way in the next few weeks, as they are currently only a point off the lead in Division Two with a couple of games in hand.
On the other hand, Arbourthorne will be disappointed with their loss, but will only have a couple of days to dust themselves down before they face Premier Division leaders Handsworth Turf Tavern in the Semi-Final of the League Cup on Thursday night.
