Brunsmeer Abbey beat Sharrow United 4-3 on penalties to move into the third round of the the League Cup. The game finished 4-4 after normal time with Stefan Oldfield scoring an hat-trick for Brunsmeer.
Division Three Rawson Spring were beaten by Premier Division Arbourthorne EA A 4-1. Michael Blythen grabbed a brace for the Arbourthorne.
Divison Two City Taxis also progressed by beating Heeley FC from the division below 3-1 into round two.

Premier Division Round-up 30/1
Third from the bottom Chapeltown Cue Ball secured an excellent 4-2 home win over fourth placed Handsworth Turf Tavern to give themself a good cushion from the relegation zone.
Hackenthorpe A Stengthened their position in third place with a 5-2 win over Mosborough A. Stacy Sharif followed last weeks brace with an hat-trick this week for Hackenthorpe.
Mid-table Crookes just edged out bottom placed Arundel 4-3 at Warminster Road to follow up a good win over Handsworth Turf Tavern last week. Peter Smith was on the scoresheet again for the hosts.

Division Two was hit with the sad news this week that John O'Gaunt were to withdraw from the league with immediate effect, due to unforeseen circumstances. The Meadowhall League wpuld like to take this opportunity to wish everyone with anything to do with the club the very best for the future.

Premier Division Round-up 23/1
Arbourthorne EA Atook advantage of Royal Earl's lack of a game to reduce the Earl's massive lead to 9 points. Arbourthorne EA recorded a good 4-0 win away at mid-table Packhorse Inn.
Second placed Handsworth Turf Tavern could not heap the pressure on the leaders though, as they slipped to second consecutive home loss, losing 2-0 to Crookes.

The day got worse for Greenhill White Hart as they dropped to third, as High Noon won 3-0 away against HSBC.
The result of the day goes to bottom-of-the-table Wincobank who secured their first win against fourth placed Wadsley Bridge WMC. Craig and Darren Richardson got the goals for Wincobank.
Sunday's other match was the mid-table clash between Pheasant Inn and Intake Ball Inn. the close-fought game ended 2-2.
