Division Two was hit with the sad news this week that John O'Gaunt were to withdraw from the league with immediate effect, due to unforeseen circumstances. The Meadowhall League wpuld like to take this opportunity to wish everyone with anything to do with the club the very best for the future.
It was a good day for Arbourthorne EA B in Division Two. They beat league Penistone Church 3-2 at Davy's Sports Club. The win takes Arbourthorne to within two points of the leaders in thrid place.
To compound a bad week for second placed Jack-in-a-Box they were beaten at home for the first time. Due to the resignation of John O'Gaunt they lost three points from their points total. Today they lost to mid-table Norton Oakes. A Rich Gilham double and a goal from Stephen Scott for Norton Oakes, who have won four of their last five league games.
