Premier Division Round-up 3/4

The  first midweek game of tthe new year took place on thursday night. The game ended an emphatic 5-0 away win for Arbourthorne EA A over Chapeltown Cue  Ball.

With the Royal Earl in cup action on sunday, Arbourthorne EA A took the opportunity to cut the their lead for the second time in three days. This time Arbourthorne beat Handsworth turf Tavern 3-2 away from home. The Royal Earl's lead over the  Arbourthorne now stands at twelve points, but they have played two game more.

Four goals from Thomas Nolan helped third placed Hackenthorpe to a convincing 7-1 win over Sharrow United, who lost back-to-back league games for the first time this season.

A Christopher Peel hat-trick for Arundel helped them beat Mosborough A 3-2 to climb above them and  move off the bottom of the table. The game is the last of Arundel's season.

Elsewhere, goals from Paul Lavender and Christopher Ashberry gave Packhorse Inn a hardfought 2-1 win over Chapeltown Cue Ball.
