Round-up 13/10

It was a depleted fixture list on Sunday in the Meadowhall League, as many of the league’s teams were involved in S&HCFA cups.

U21 League Division Cup 1st Round
The U21 League Cup started this past Sunday. There was just one fixture, with Mosborough U21 winning comfortably 4-0 over Swallownest U21.

Division Two
Ridgeway Athletic extended their lead at the top of the Second Division with a big 11-0 away win over Masons Arms Langsett. 20 year old Ashden Morley was in fine form for Ridgeway scoring four goals. Ridgeway’s lead is now at four points.

Woodhouse West End ended a three game losing streak, with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Wadsley FC at Niagra Sports Club.

U21 Division
Daniel Rogers scored the only goal for Sheffield United Junior Blades, as they beat Double Top U21 1-0 at East End Park. The Blades are now six points clear of second place in the U21 Division.

Abbey Lane U21 climbed into third place in the U21 Division, with an 8-0 away win over Crosspool U21. Both Elliott and Haworth scored hat-tricks for Abbey Lane.

Sharrow United U21 are beginning to hit form; they made it three games unbeaten on Sunday with a 2-1 home win over Wisewood Hounds U21 at Sheffield United Redtooth Academy.
