It was a significant day in Division One with all the top four in action. League Leaders Brunsmeer Abbey were beaten away at mid-table HSBC. Brunsmeer's loss was taken advantage of by the still unbeaten High Noon. High Noon beat the mid-table Pheasant Inn 4-1 with a brace from Christopher Barnes. The win took them two points clear at the top of the league, where they have at least three games in hand of all the times down to fifth place.
The other game in Division One yesterday was thrid placed Greenhill White Hart hosting fourth placed Intake Ball Inn. The league table showed there was little between the two teams and rather predictably the game ended a 1-1 draw, a result that helps neither team title aspirations.
