After a five week respite, the weather returned to play havoc with this weeks fixtures list. Heavy rain led to many waterlogged pitches city-wide. However, two games did survive at Davy's Sports Club and the Mosborough Miners Welfare ground.
In the League Cup there was an all Premier League tie in the round one between Handsworth Turf Tavern and Mosborough A. Handsworth just edged a tight contest 3-2 to advance into the next round. Cooper, Hobson and Stocks with the goals for Handsworth. Matthew Ellis with a brace for the away team. Handsworth will now host Division Two team Ridgeway Athletic in round two.
The other fixture of the day was in Division Three where Mosborough B continued their resurgence with a 6-1 home win over Handsworth Social Club. The result is Mosborough's fifth win in six games and leaves them undefeated in the league since Haloween. Bradley Potts scored his second hat-trick of the season to take his tally to 16 goals in all competitions.
