Royal Earl's weekend got even better as third placed Hackentorpe were held to a 1-1 draw at home to fourth placed Crookes.
At Frecheville Sports Club Arundel were just edged out 3-2 by third-from-bottom Sharrow United. Immanuel Heywood, Droy Williams and an own goal for Sharrow United.
In the mid-table clash at the Caribbean Sports Club, Chapeltown Cue Ball beat Packhorse Inn 2-1.
