Due to the Tinsley Trophy Semi-finals it was a quiet day in the Division Three with only two games taking place.
A Robert Harris hat-trick helped mid-table Hackenthorpe B to a 5-1 win over Staffordshire Arms at Reignhead Farm.
Mosobrough B kept their good form going with a hardfought 2-1 win over bottom club Birley Moor News. The game was marred by a bad injury to the Birley goalkeeper's shoulder. However, after the incident Birley Moor News made it known to the league how helpful the Mosborough B players and staff were in assisting the injured player. So top marks Mosborough B for showing a great sportsmanship.
