Senior and Junior Cup Round-up 23/10

It was a bad day for the Meadowhall League teams participating in the Sunday Senior Cup, as all but two teams were eliminated. Last season six Meadowhall League teams won at this stage of the competition, with Arbourthorne EA A reaching the final at Bramall Lane, where they were defeated by AFP.

Sadly, only Packhorse Inn and Mosborough A won to advance to the fourth round of the competition this time around.

In sharp contrast to the performance in the Senior cup; all but one of the Meadowhall League teams playing on Sunday in the Junior cup won their fixture. Only Woodhouse Juniors FC were dispatched from the competition by the Beighton Falcons.
