Round-up 9/9


Premier Division
Handsworth Turf Tavern sit top of the Premier Division after two games. At the weekend they were impressive 4-1 winners over Royal Earl. The goals came from Jordan Stocks, Paul Turner, Richard Tootle and Russell Hobson (pen).

Greenhill White Hart were emphatic 8-2 winners over High Noon. Nick Owen scored four of the goals for Greenhill.

Crookes just edged out Arundel 4-3 at Warminster Road. Peter Smith (2), Paul Clements and Philip Parkin (pen) with the goals for Crookes.

Sharrow United recorded a excellent 3-1 away win over Wadsley Bridge WMC. Aaron Martin, Watheq Al-Hakum and Martin Brissett were on the score-sheet for Sharrow.

Elsewhere, Packhorse Inn and Hackenthorpe A played out a rare Sunday morning goalless draw at Thorncliffe Playing Fields.  

Division One
A Steven Brammer double inspired Arbourthorne EA to a 5-2 win over Intake Ball Inn at Warminster Road. The win keeps them top of the league.

James Middleton, David Cutts and Jake Hampshire got the goals as Division Two winners Rawson Spring beat Ridgeway Athletic 3-0.

Hackenthorpe B were impressive 5-1 winners over Woodhouse Juniors, a result that puts them joint top.

Division Two
Hurlfield have made a very good start to life in the Meadowhall League. They won 6-0 at home against Wadsley FC. BrandonWilde and Ryan Ducker both scored twice for the hosts.  The win keeps them top of the league.

Norton Athletic were held 2-2 at Hackenthorpe Villa. The draw is Norton's second in two games.

U21 Division
Coddington, Alex Mosley and Josh Oxley-Adams all scored twice for Sheffield FC U21's, as they beat Hackenthorpe Warriors U21's 6-0.

Hollinsend U21's sit top of the league after two games. They were held to a 1-1 draw at Roughwood fields against Greaseborough U21's. 

Abbey Lane U21's were big 5-1 winners over Sharrow United U21's at Parsons Cross Park.
