It was a tense night for both Handsworth Turf Tavern and Crookes last Thursday. Handsworth new a win would give them the tile, as they had a superior goal difference. Crookes knew they needed Handsworth to slip-up, as well as winning themselves to take the championship.
In the end it was a little less dramatic, with both teams running-out convincing winners. Handsworth were 6-2 winners away Hackenthorpe A. Crookes were also in the goals, beating Packhorse Inn at Thorncliffe Playing Fields.
So congratulations to all involved with Handsworth Turf Tavern, who win the title as they have a 13 better goal differential compered with Crookes.
