Round-up 15/12

There was a reduced league fixture list this week, as there were a number of the league's sides taking part in County FA cup competitions.

Premier Division
There was just one fixture in the Premier Division with Sharrow United hosting Hackenthorpe A at Warminster Road. Sharrow United took the points with a 2-1 win. Delano Stewart-Jones and Watheq Al-Hakem scored the goals for Sharrow.

Division One
Hackenthorpe B closed in on leaders High Noon, following their 2-1 home win over third placed Hurlfield. Hackenthorpe are now within three points of the leaders, but they have played two games more than their rivals.

Two goals from 20 year old Joe Lancashire was enough to help Intake Ball Inn to their first league win of the season. Intake were 3-2 winners at Warminster Road over HSBC. Intake remain bottom though, as second bottom Penistone Church claimed a point at HSBC Sports, with a 1-1 draw with City Taxis.

Packhorse Inn made it five games unbeaten in the league, with a comfortable 4-0 away win over Concord. Packhorse are only four points off second place, with four games spare.

Division Two
Mosborough registered their fourth straight home league win, after a 2-1 win over Wadsley. Mosborough are now second in the league, seven points off the pace, with two games in hand.

U21 Division
League leaders Sheffield United Junior Blades U21 were once again in the goals at East End Park. This time they were 9-4 victors over Mosborough U21. The Blades stretch their lead to a massive 20 points at the top.

Sharrow United U21 were in second pace at the beginning of the weekend, but they were defeated 5-3 by Brampton Dynamos U21 at Wales High School. Brunsmeer U21 take Sharrow United U21's second placed position, they were 4-1 winners over Crosspool U21 at Whirlow Playing Fields.

Ash Sellers starred for Abbey Lane U21. Sellers scored a hat-trick, as Abbey Lane beat Swallownest U21 6-2 at the Boundary Club.

Hackenthorpe Warriors U21 claimed their second point of the season. They held Wisewood Hounds U21 to an exciting 3-3 draw at Parsons Cross Park. Hackenthorpe's previous point this season also came in a 3-3 draw, but against Brampton Dynamos U21.
