Premier Division
Arundel took another step closer to the Premier Division title with a hard-fought win over Crookes at the Civil Service Ground. Rawson Spring are now nine points clear of second placed Hackenthorpe A, who have two games spare.
Second placed Hackenthorpe A were in action on Thursday night. They beat Wadsley Bridge WMC 4-0 at Chaucer Sports Centre on Thursday night. Ashley Longstaff starred, scoring twice as they stretched their unbeaten league run to six games.
Handsworth Turf Tavern beat Brunsmeer Abbey AJW 3-2 at Davy’s Sports Club on Thursday night. The two teams will meet again in a months time in the League Cup final.
Arundel climbed into fourth place, with a 3-1 home win over The Devonshire. It is the first time Arundel have scored for three games in the league.
Division One
There was just one game in Division One, with HSBC hosting Penistone Church at HSBC Sports Club. The spoils were shared, as they drew 2-2. The point ends a run of four consecutive defeats for HSBC.
Division Two
SWD climbed into third place in the Second Division, with a 5-0 win away against Bystrany Sheffield. Brandon Wilde scored a hat-trick to add to the two he scored last week. SWD are now only two points off leaders Woodhouse JFC with a game in hand.
U21 Division
Abbey Lane U21 climbed into second place in the U21 Division with a 2-0 away win over Mosborough U21 on Tuesday night. Mosborough did not let the loss get the down though, as they won 4-0 away against Hackenthorpe Warriors U21 just 48 hours later.
League winners Sheffield United Junior Blades U21 finished their league season with a 2-0 home win over fourth placed Brunsmeer U21. The Blades have dropped just four points in the 20 games they have played, and still have the U21 Cup Final to look forward to.
Thomas Oakes scored all three goals for Crosspool U21, as they beat Wisewood Hounds U21 3-0 at Parson Cross Park.
