Sunday was a big day in both cup with two Quarter finals taking place in both the Tinsley Trophy and the League Cup.
In the Tinsley Trophy Third Division Ecclesfield WMC beat Division Two leaders Jack-in-Box 3-0. The other Quarter Final ended with Sharrow Vale beating Mosborough B 2-0 at the Mosborough Miners Welfare ground.
In the League Cup Division One Pheasant Inn took Arbourthorne EA A all the way. The game finished 0-0 with Arbourthorne eventually settling the tie 4-2 on penalties. Sunday's other Quarter Final provided more goals, but was equally poised with Premier Division Leaders Royal Earl just edging out HSBC 3-2 to advance to the next stage.
The Tinsley Trophy Semi finals take place on the 27th March with Sharrow Vale hosting Ridgeway Athletic and Ecclesfield WMC at home to the in-form Rawson Spring.
The League Cup Semi finals take place on consecutive weekends at Hallam's Sandygate ground. The first being High Noon versus Beighton Magpies on the 3rd April. The second is on the 10th April with Arbourthorne EA A taking on Brunsmeer Abbey.
