Birley Moor News recorded their first win of the season in an entertaining clash with FC Darnall. The game ended four-three to Birley with the goals coming from James Brookes, Andy Nicol, Marcus Thomas and Paul Johnson.
In Sunday's other game Mosborough made it four league wins on the spin, by defeating Staffordshire Arms two-nil. Goals from Bradley Potts and Martyn Cooper push Mosborough into fourth place.
