The result of the day came at Frecheville Sports Club as a sole Lee Dexter goals gave bottom club Arundel the win over fourth placed Crookes. The result for Arundel, however, was made more important by the fact that second bottom Packhorse Inn also got a great win, beating third placed Hackenthorpe A 3-2.
Sharrow United warmed up for their Senior Cup semi-final with a 2-1 home win over Mosborough A, who slip into the bottom two. Sharrow's goals came from Bjorn Taylor and Iftikhar Afzal.
Sunday's other Premier League game came between Handsworth Turf Tavern and Chapeltown Cue Ball. Amazingly the game finished 4-4. This is the second time Chapeltwon have drawn 4-4 this season, as they emulated the scoreline against Royal Earl all the way back in October.
